Light Bringers: Veritas

Join this ancient order of Light Bringers named Veritas. They swore to kill whoever they deem evil and wrong-doers. And they then give their foes' bloods for the sake of their Goddess Veritas who is the Goddess of all that is ture and right.

The member of the cult/society are called Avatars of Veritas. But they are no means paladins since their righteous path may not be so 'right' for everyone. They have absolutely no tollerence of abusers, murderers, wrong doers and blasphemous people.

The rituals:

These involve many things that are led by the religous leaders who lead the rituals in the gatherings of holy times. These are usually the wizards of high knowledge. Rituals involve sacrifice, dedication, commitment and lots and lots of blood and body parts of the enemy. If you don't dare to drink the blood of your foes or participate in their mutuliation then you are not worthy enough to be part of this cult.

Motto: We seek, we destroy in the name of good and that of pure. We bring light to the darkness by cleansing it with the blood of our enemies.

Some ranks and positions:

Magi: The religous leaders who are asked to lead the religous cermons and rituals and they keep the connection between Veritas and the Avatars.

Avatars:
There are two main ways of serving the goddess Veritas. One is the ability of brutal fighting while the other is the art of deception.

So the sheer fighters are called Avatar of Cleansing. These are the warriors who go out there, find and hunt down the wrong doers and bring back the remainings of them to the cult after end of each week or 'The Great Hunt' that is led monthly. They also do all sorts of things related to killing and mutuliating.

And then there are middle persons who find and lead the enemy by the art of deception or courting. Simply their job is to gain trust among the enemy and then lead them to us or to be more precise to the Avatars of Cleansing for job to be done. They are called Avatar of Masques. They are very important. They need to be clever, subtle and sneaky. They can gain trust of their enemies by seducing or by simply becoming friends with them. The important thing is that needs to stay as secret.

Goddess also rewards the most faithful Avatars by giving them gifts. So, you are not only spiritually rewarded but also will be provided wealth and material which are not the aim but a tool for you to carry on with your duties.

Don't forget, we are the superirors, they are the inferior, pathetic and low beings. They need our saving, they need us to bring them to the light.

For Veritas, fo the goddess of all righteous.

The only thing righteous in this world if what Azure considers righteous, and worshipping false gods certainly is not righteous, so your god, or shall we say, weaker being, is a false statement. Beware of infidels like he is, the only true force remains in her grace's all healing hands.

Oh...well I didn't see your god! My goddess is not merciful...she is the goddess of dark passion and gore. So, she likes seeing blood flowing. If you believe in Azure, then be it. You and your followers will be great material for our 'Great Hunt'

Then you are accepted. Though you will have to prove yourself to us. I might not have mentioned this before but there is a little price to pay and ofcourse a test. A test fort he initiates. It is for the better for all of us.

Our kin does not exist so how do you kill that which does not exist? We are bound with each other more than only blood, we are one soul within and out of the goddess. We don't die, we don't parish. We ever are and we never were. But your feeble mind can not comprahend this. Just know that by our souls we are what we are. Our bodies are servants of them. So, if I don't make it my next brother, sister will. Until the eternity, when all souls will go back to the goddess!

OOC: yes we are semi-roleplaying Herioum, afterall this is the RP section...and Pluro the way it goes it may end up being one. Though there is both cult and guild system in the game it seems. We will see how the mechanics will turn out. Then we will define it good. At the moment I am working on a temporary html website. We will need bit more support from players to be able to call us soemthing though

If interested though, you are welcome considering you are prepared to pay the price and pass the initiates test.

My God wrote a book and in his book, Book of Ar, he says he is the God of all Gods and he also says his book is true which means that he is in fact the God of all Gods; this is further supplemented by that fact that he also states that as Supreme God of Gods he has forbidden all other Gods to publish books like him. So if his is the only book then it must truly mean he is the Supreme God of Gods. All hail Ishxan, Supreme God of Gods!

All those who believe in the lesser Gods are servants to Ishxan's servants as all the other Gods are servants to the Supreme God Ishxan.

There is no such word as "Godesses", if you have lets say five of them then the plural will be Gods. So if I say the God (male) of the Gods (means both male and female gods).

Id didn't say anything about Goddess, merely that the plural Gods applies to both sexes. Like generally when people say the race of men they don't mean just males.

I don't know where did Aryev got the idea that we didn't have a book anyway. We do have the Ancient Tome of Broune. It is an ancient text that is partly translated which was found by an adventurer called Broune. Broune didn't live long enough to see what he actually found was the truth and grew to become this deity.

The possibility of your text being written by anyone and having a error in translation is huge, whilst The Book of Ar is handed down from the great God himself without the need of a so called "translator". I mean does a God or Goddess say, "Hmmm I think I'll dump my text of Religious conduct and scriptures in a random cave with a dragon where it will rot for eons then be found some random adventurer who MIGHT translate it wrong."??? MY God KNOWS that if you want true followers; ambiguous and mysteriously translated text is not the way to go.
