Permanent scars. if you are in a major encounter, or a heated battle, you could say choose to take a scar from that battle. i know when i am in a battle with someone for a considerable amount of time, and it takes alot of skill for me to win, or for him to kill me, and it was a very fun and challenging fight, then id like a scar of some sort to remember that. Maybe after a battle you could choose to keep a scar. just something little

Also, perhaps a tattoo system for a little more customization? Like, each tribe could ave unique decorations, and as you advance and complete different tasks or become certain classes you could pick from different tattoos. Maybe it wouldn't apply to every race, but races like Orcs or god willing, Barbarians. |

When a player takes a screenshot, the picture is stored in that character's memory. A player then can hire an artist to sketch, draw, or paint that memory.
![]() The top picture is an example of an original memory. It is a screenshot from the MO teaser. The bottom picture is a painting, demonstrating one way in which an artist can illustrate a memory. Possible uses: 1) When players create their own books, they can include illustrations taken from their own memories. Players can write adventure novels detailing an epic encounter, or a guide book that shows newly discovered areas or beasts that they have witnessed. 2) Players can decorate their homes with these paintings, mosaics, or tiles. Perhaps the floor or wall of your guild hall will look something like this: ![]() 3) Creates a career for artists. Artists can go to a scenic area, capture a memory of the place, create a painting of the majestic sight, and then sell it as a painting. I don't know how realistic this idea is to implement, or what technology is needed to run it. While the system that I detailed may be complex, the actual core of the idea is simple: ability to write books and tools to draw. |

What I'd like most I think are random invasions of npc cities. IE this week town x is being ravaged by undead... npc's being killed/saved etc for a couple days. Then in 2-3 weeks another town is randomly attacked, possibly by a horde of orcs.
Another thing that would be interesting to me is to skip the "auction house" and have player vendors.. a reason to visit player housing. And, much like UO, vendors that keep items sold by players... and a fluctuating economy based on how much demand each item is in. |

Yeah, I hope they have something like that also. Maybe, also even have soldiers from a different city attacking a different city for a king that wants to have a new city as well or a king that wants to own the world.

bounties may have already been suggested somewhere, if so cool if not here it is.
well i believe that if you Pk a "murderer" you are not pened in anyway. a bounty system would be very nice. i know the game will already be keeping track of who kills who and so farth why not add to that system a tracker to track locations also. so in towns there would be a bulletin board naming the murders (murderer and victim) that happened in the last week in the area and a price on the top 10 or so murderers and the top 3 murders in the regien. maybe even have a list of players who have collected on these bounties updated every few hours or so. this could also be a use for the trophy idea some have been talking about. in a hard core PvP game this should fit right in. |

I'd like to see a change between day and night apart from just a darker sky. It would be great if NPCs (for example vendors) wouldn't be all out on the streets at night, but if an in-game day would last a full real day then that could limit the playability for people that can only play later at the evening or night. So to find a compromise there at least the NPCs should change, for example less vendors but more guards. NPCs that give you quests (in whichever creative way quests will be handled) could be in taverns or their houses which you can enter after knocking on their doors and the NPC opening it. There could then be a difference between a noble knight-like character for which an old lady would open the door directly compared to a sinister looking rogue-like character which won't be granted entrance just like that. Maybe he could talk himself into the NPC's trust and house?

I'd really like to see footprints and/or player made trails or tracks. Say one person walks a route that is faster than the main road and another person sees him do this. Then that route gets traveled more often and sooner or later a path gets formed.
I don't really think this would be possible, but it sounded like a good idea when I thought of it. |

I'd like to see blood dripping from my weapon for a few seconds after I've used it to slay another player.
I'd like to be able to choose my characters "vibe" or demeanor. Different postures or facial expressions for different emotions that i wish to portray at the moment. Taverns and Inns with a purpose, like being able to join a table of players, playing gambling games so we take gold from other players or lose gold to other players. Or play some sort of medieval darts or billiards against other players, mini games don't always have to be about killing each other War paint. All MMO's let you pick a permanent face paint or tattoo at character creation, this is a little too ....permanent and takes the fun out of the markings, removable war paint would be very cool i think Playable music instruments, like in LOTRO, but with sound fonts instead of midi so the tones sound rich and realistic (think war drums in massive PvP) ~Phi~ Last edited by Phi : 1st August 2008 at 13:05. |

Probably favourite 3 things which would make this game more "enjoyable"
- Mini games in taverns eg. poker with other players for gold (or any other game for that matter) - Maybe not so original since it was used in LOTRO but playing instruments is pretty cool, at least if your bored you could always play something on your guitar ;p -CLOAKS FTW, nuff said they just give a more epic feeling |

Please NO evading mobs, if I can use the terrain so that the mob don't hit me it's either me using the environment to my advantage or bad world design.
Evading mobs usually happens if you are standing in a place where he can't reach you and to avoid exploiting the mobs start to evade. But instead of making the mob evade they should run away/flee instead to a safer spot. |

I'd like to see a difference in day and night. ANY difference. In conjunction make torches a part of the game.
Aside from a health buff, i'd like to see buffs activated through battle and particularly nice moves. Example, I successfully parry 2 strikes then gain a temporary bonus to attack speed. Incapacitating moves should have a short duration with a moderate cost/cool down. There can never be too many emotes. |

I would like to have some AI on mounts! They should get spooked they should show fear! They should be stubborn at times... I want them to actually feel alive! And they should randomly take a crap too!
Like a virtual pet they should add to the athmosphere and experience. They either have skills, you train them to have more stamina, better speed, show less fear and at the same time your rifding skill influences the freedom of your horse! So that it has less of its own head but follows your controls much beter over time... or they have random attributes of the above... maybe we have breeding to and you can kinda breed a fast with another fast horse and become an even faster one if your lucky... or breed to get a jack of all trades.. Hope you get the point! The more alive they feel, the better...

I'd like to see a fantasy naming standard. I'm really tired of logging into games and seeing "Lucky" or "xXxFantasyKillahxXx" or "Vagina" or "Determined" as character names.
please please please keep me from having to kill or be killed by these people. |

And sometimes I dont understand Game developers, why you cannot make character with same name as it is already exist in the game world? If you could (like in UO), then there would be more reason to make such report thing, because it would be possible to play with normal name. Also, I could live with such Nicks...

Ok, i've been waiting a long time for such a promising game to be developed and there's my wall of suggestions!
1.Gladiators arenas: i saw this was already suggested and all I can do is add my vision to it and maybe it helps developers! here it is: In arenas players could play 3 roles in arena life: participate in PvP and PvE fights, place bets, and organize remarkable tournaments/fights. 1) participate in battles. There would be entrance fees and the winner would take the money collected from players(fee could wary since organiser could set it) . also there could be Arena owners taxes from these fees so its profitable for the organizer. 2)put money on fighting players and see if they win. We see wages like this when some sports teams play, horse racing etc. This type of bussines actually comes from ancient roman times, when prisoners fought versus each other or creatures(lions etc). Taxes could also be included for bets. Money winning/losing system would be similar as fighters system: all of the winners voters would get the money put on from loser's voters. There could also be waging options similar to roulette: fighter wins flawlessly, fighter wins 3 rounds, wins 3d place or wins a price place(1st, 2nd or 3d). Depending on less or more chance to guess right, more or less money could be won. 3) Organize fights and tournaments. As it turns out you are some kind of authority, duke of the region, large guild master or just a wealthy person or arena owner himself! you can organize tournaments - place a prize for winning a tournament, set rules, fees, taxes and such. (remember Tristan and Isolda story arena part? I doubt that you would be able to win a princess, but some other prize would go well.) Money winning/losing system would be similar as fighters system: all of the winners voters would get the money put on from loser's voters. There could also be waging options similar to roulette: fighter wins flawlessly, fighter wins 3 rounds, wins 3d place or wins a price place(1st, 2nd or 3d). Depending on less or more chance to guess right, more or less money could be won. There could be different arena fight types: PvP: 1) single fights. Including 1 vs 1 or group vs group. 2) tournament style, where a player or team would need to go up a ladder to win the treasure. PvE: multiple players or teams would fight rounds with stronger and stronger mobs, and the participant who would go most far would win. Also team names could be chosen so the team would be recogniseable and had a chance to get famous. Note: i totally dont want to see arenas like in WoW or GW, because it separates out all other world andruins the aspect of arena itself for me. being able to just to town arena and observe random battles would be awesome! 2. Taverns and Gambling: in gladiator arenas I already included a gambling aspect to it and there im to broad it up. Would be fun to go to a tavern in a town and play games for your own money. Possible influence could be taken from game Fable(i loved those medieval style games) and modern casinos of course. There's so much gamble games around there and its not that hard to come up with 1 yourself, that it leads to almost infinitive possibilities. As for taverns it self I would love to be able to drink different buzzy drinks/hear random tunes of local bards and find interesting NPCs to interact with. More suggestions to follow(i have very much of em on mind |

1# An actual response by getting hit, a painful response, soundwise. For example, a grunt or even screams.
2# Decapitation, as a finishing-move, the final hit (if you hit in that area). And loot the head as a trophy as someone mentioned. |

1) Avatar Customization I am an appearance whore when it comes to video games. I generally play female characters because I like them better - and I always love games that give me a wide range of creation options. I'm not fond of standard cookie-cutter facial templates as you see in most games like WoW, Lineage, and the like. I prefer control over every aspect of my character - facial morphing, body morphing, and all that. I spent more time playing EVE creating characters than I did actually playing! I know that in an MMORPG th |
