Default game engine tech

how will the game handle collision detection (between bulky targeting boxes to polygon-level)?

will the game use a physics engine? will it be in use for projectile and falling-object calculations only, or will it calculate object's blunt impact based on it's weight surface area and speed (and resulting damage)? will momentum impact damage?

does the engine feature destructible environments? if so, will it be just for magic or can we log down the wooden foundation of a shack?

will the game use a procedural animation engine (of the sorts you see in euphoria)? if it does, in what ways will you exploit it to improve upon gameplay?

when you look down, can you see your feet, or do we play as floating points in space?

I hardly doubt the devs have any clues on those questions yet.

whatever the Dev's cant answer yet could just as easily be taken as a feature suggestion :P

I guess this is kinda my field, I'll see if I can answer some of these questions in the next "answer to your questions"-topic.

Basically just look up any videos of gears of war 2 or unreal tournament 3 like on gametrailers.com. Gears of War 2 uses the same engine so it will be kind of like that.
