It seems you've found the forums that was actually intended to be the side game for mortal

SV's *got one* for the account page.

Why they can't use it for the rest of the site (yes, including the forums) I do not understand.

I don't know; would they have to pay more?

If you mean "what does the green padlock mean", then Speznat's link above explains it a little.

There's also the issue of search rankings and dire warnings.

You'd think that it would be worth it to Star Vault.

Feels like they are all over the place, just like their game code.

Don't they need to pay for extra domains or something?

    Maybe.

But apparently this is not in place for all pages on even just one domain, e.g. www.mortalonline.com

please do it, because if "not secure" stands there and is red marked in some browsersthat could scare a lot of people. And it looks likt that oyu dont have 2dollar a month. for a ssl certificate for example from domain factory or whereever.

The problem is even more compounded if and when we use public wifi to access the MO forums, where it is about as secure as yelling out our username, password and everything we type in posts and private conversations here.

Having https here on the forums would be nice.

It's been nine months, so I'm going to deliver another plea for this to be taken care of.

Whenever I’m out using free public Wifi I practically never visit the MO forums, for the very reason that it doesn’t use HTTPS encryption.

I'd also like this to be moved to Feedback and Suggestions, where it really belongs. Pretty please.

I heard about it; but, since I do don't faecesbook, it didn't affect me.

    Remove facebook was merely recent.
Being on facebook is so 2004.
Still being on facebook is ever so 2005.

My sympathies for the cramp you got while typing out your post.
