So I been playing for a year have 4 accounts and today was the first day i had an issue with getting my pet back , So if my pet disappears what should I do stay standing where I petition or keep running , if I get killed by another player because I am waiting for a petition will I get res at that spot what if the other player can see my pet and I cant and kills it will I get another pet ?
I believe a counselor or gm would say get to a safe place to petition. Ive never had an issue as long as im near my pet. Only issue i had was once i got too far away due to i kept running. Most issues can be resolved with patience.
If at all possible stay as close to your pet as you can as we do not move pets to far around the map. In most cases you will receive help within a few mins. If you find your self not able to wait explain in detail to the support personal why you could not wait close to your pet.
if a person would hide their pet and tell it to stay(chat log would show this) , I'd see what your saying being relevant or if it was mountainous terrain where the pet looses line of sight ok , but to give a hard time about pets on flat surfaces that otherwise would be with the owner where ever they are running..to run to the jungle for 30min tame a pet , then every-once in a while wait for a petition another 20 min to then do a run back for 30min and if the AI is acting up wait for a few more petitions to unstuck the pet along the way we are talking about more time being spent on something that most of the time works and every-once in a while acts up , whatever ...PorkCereal convenient reply there buddy

Not sure what's convenient about my post, I'm just telling you what I've learned and been told during my experience of playing since beta. Trust me its easier to learn to work within the mechanics and buggy crap then it is to rage about it.
People shouldnt have to wait by their pets everytime they get stuck for 5 - 15 mins Not the players fault they get stuck everywhere.
I have to agree with Vaith. When I run something up from lets say Jungelcamp I wont be stopping until a counceler bothers to show up. One time I ran all the way from jungelcamp to Bakti and when I got to Bakti the counceler told me that I was to far away, and he closed the ticket before I could explain the situation.
We should not be waiting until the game "works again" ... What is too far if the waiting time is too long?
Yah but then there is someone in our guild who I wont name, who isn't in our guild anymore who would get their pet stuck at the bottom of sausage lake while transporting goods to fabernum, in order to avoid risk of losing materials. Ideally though pets wouldn't get stuck.
