Recruitment Thread Requirements

    Submitting a thread

    You can submit recruitment threads for guilds here. All threads are automatically moderated and will not be visible until a moderator approves it. If your thread does not appear, please do not post more, as it can take some time to approve them.

    Your thread should include:
    • The guild name in the title
    • The guild's purpose and/or goals
    • The type of guild (pvp, rpk, empire building, rp, etc)
    • What kind of players you are looking for
    • How to apply
    • Contact details - forum PM, guild forums/website, email etc

    Updating your thread
    • Contact a moderator, either through forum PM or IRC PM. The moderator will be able to temporarily open the thread while you are online so that you can edit it.
    • Make your changes and updates
    • Once you are finished, save the changes, and PM the same moderator again to let them know that you are finished
    • A moderator will then approve the thread and close it

    Bumping Your Thread
    • Report the thread using the report button at the side, and ask for it to be bumped
    • A moderator will post a "bump" to bring your thread to the top of the first page. Previous bumps will be deleted.
    • Threads can be bumped ONLY if your thread HAS NOT been bumped for two weeks

    Deleting a Thread
    • Contact a moderator and ask for the recruitment thread to be deleted
    • If you are not the one who posted the thread, permission will be required from that person first. If it is somehow not possible to receive permission and the thread needs removed, an investigation will begin and proper actions will be taken.
    • Do not ask for a thread to be deleted, and then post the thread again (even if it is a new version) soon after. This is not the proper way to bump a thread.

    The only cases that we will be deleting threads is if the guild has disbanded or if the guild has closed recruitment. Please note that the guild will not be able to post another thread until two weeks have passed since the deletion of the thread.

    Note: Guilds that appear inactive may have their recruitment thread soft-deleted in time. If you do not respond to any PMs and we do not see any activity, your thread will be hard-deleted. Please keep a copy of your thread saved to your computer or online so that you can repost it if needed.
