The last movie you saw and what you thought of it

I'll start:

Die Hard 3 (5/10)
Hardly especially good, but I had a good time watching it.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes. I'd say... 7/10.

It's not amazing, and the story could have been more believable, and it felt a bit rushed (although I understand why), but... was good CGI, good acting. decent story, and was entertaining enough. Better than I thought it'd be.

Didn't really enjoy it, special effects were impressive on the apes but as Truth said it could have been more believable.... Also the ending did seem quite rushed, the credits started rolling and I had a "wtf" moment wondering if it was actually over.

Pirates Of the Caribbean, Stranger Tides, 6/10, Without Johnny Depp, 4/10

Yeah, I pretty much agree. I was considering a 6.5, but decided to be nice.

I watched Hanna last night, fucking terrible, I want the 1.5 hours of my life back I wasted.

The story concept was good though..

Yeah I thought Hanna wasnt too bad, I liked the fight scenes with the good techno beat to it, I think it ran out of ideas at the end though.

'Farewell' ... and it gets a 9 out of 10 by me.

Friends with benefits - Kinda like a typical romance with a little twist.

Hot and funny sex scenes.. 6/10

The Expendables... Solid action movie in this sea of utter garbage they produce these days. I´d give it 8.5 out of 10.

X-Men First Class - 5/10 like watching a schoolyard fight with superpowers

The last movie i saw was some boring action movie called sinners & saints.

they just tried too hard to be a documentary-movie like Blair Witch Project .. but the effects were pretty cool and i just dont get the christian thing

The Squid and the Whale. 7/10.

Reminded me a lot of my parents, especially the father. Not the divorce thing, since they're still together, but the whole PhD in Literature attitude and the desperate attempts to cope with reality by fooling themselves into believing they're above it all.

Always a good thread can't make enough of these... It's hard to find good movies nowadays.

I just watched Hanna, it was good! Reminded me of "The Long Kiss Goodnight"(1996).

I also watched "The Bleeding House" And it was terribad.
