    The factions sounds really cool, like a daily event with rewards.
    if control towers are going to be given stricter rules they need to have their defenses buffed and require siege equipment to destroy.

    it doesnt feel like mortal to have some NPC faction.
    mortal has really always been such a player content driven world. it seems weird to fight for NPC causes. i guess it really depends how it plays out and is done.

    Looks good to me, nice to see SV listening to feedback.

    As for factions, whats the goal? To get people to fight more or so people can PvP without consequence?

    Im not against it, but if i choose to not join any faction as a neutral guild does that mean I cant access the rewards?

    This. Everything else looks absolutely great (if done properly... there's still room for fuckups ofc), but factions? A server wide daily match of capture the flag? Feels a bit out of place

    I'm worried about the capture system, as the Merchants Guild will not have much defence against our stuff getting taken away?

    The alliance system and everything else sounds good.

    As long as the factions arent superseding the guild system I dont see a problem with it.

    Yes this would help the game alot.
    The beginner Island, recruiting new players in a guild.
    Would be nice the spawns and chances of better mobs will occur if you take control of a territory with a guild.
    Like the faction idea, sounds like eve online.. in a way.
    Hope it's setup for both EU and US.

    What is exactly going to be the point of them then? Why would people not just jump from faction to faction depending on who is currently winning?
