A note on fraud and security

It has come to our attention that one or more individuals have set up a small network with links to distribute malicious software camouflaged as a “Mortal Online Beta Installer”. Among other things an account has been set up on YouTube by a user posing as a Star Vault employee, with links to a site with this file. We also have reports of images with embedded url:s that link to this site. Not only is the software harmful (it installs a keylogger and maybe more), but the site itself contains malicious java code. We are currently taking legal action against the sites we have a chance to affect.

Please take care to protect your safety on the net. Star Vault will always announce any updates regarding Mortal Online software and Beta through the official site and forums. Take care when seeing third party links.
